The Inventory Assistant will assist the Inventory Controller with materials management functions, such as the planning, purchasing, procurement, storage, inventory control and distribution of materials and products to meet company objectives and customer requirements. The Inventory Assistant will administer the flow of materials, supplies and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and department priorities, post entries in the inventory control system, post internal transfers for central supply to meet production demand, assist with research for best vendor, highest quality product and best economical price for the organization. They will also perform inventory counts and process inventory disposal and reallocation reports as needed.


  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with special emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, written and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel to all locations and to meetings outside the service area
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and problem-solve independently
