Healthy Connections welcomes Erin Holleman, APRN, to our Malvern health clinic locations.
Holleman, a Malvern native, will be seeing patients on Tuesday’s at College of the Ouachitas Health Center and on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at the Malvern School District Wellness Center. Both health clinics are operated by Healthy Connections, Inc.
Call (888) 710-8220 to make an appointment.
Holleman has been a nurse practitioner since 2008, working at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Premise Health. She will start out seeing patients for family medicine and primary care issues.
“I’m excited to be back in Malvern with Healthy Connections,” she said. “I love taking care of people.”
Clinic hours are 8-5 p.m. on Tuesdays at COTO, and 8-6 p.m. Monday through Friday on the Malvern High School campus, adjacent to the Leopard Center gymnasium. While students and faculty are seen first at these locations, the health centers are also available to the public. They accept Medicaid, including ARKids First, Medicare, and most private health insurance. There is also a sliding-fee scale for those without insurance who qualify.
Holleman also brings another area of expertise to her patients. She is in the process of completing her certification to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN PMHNP). This provides additional insight into patient conditions and will allow her to work alongside the Healthy Connections Behavioral Health therapists, including Tisha Jenkins, LCSW.
In all, Healthy Connections operated 10 clinics throughout southwest and south central Arkansas, including locations in Mena, Hot Springs, Malvern, Arkadelphia, Mount Ida, and DeQueen. Healthy Connections is a federally qualified health center and a part of Community Health Centers of Arkansas. Each of these clinics offers family medicine and primary care services. Some also offer behavioral health therapy and dental services.
Some locations also offer specialty services through Healthy Connections Specialty. Depending on location, these services include Cardiology, Podiatry, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and joint injections.
