Healthy Connections is seeking Medical Records Clerk for our Community Health Network.

Healthy Connections Community Health Network is a Mena-based nonprofit organization serving the needs of children and adults throughout the areas we serve. Since its founding in 1998 as a home-visiting program, Healthy Connections has been able to provide much-needed health, dental, behavioral health, and social services to families of every lifestyle.

How you’ll contribute

The Medical Records Clerk is an integral part of our health network team and  is responsible for placing patient information in the electronic medical record, preparing charts as needed for chart reviews and audits and managing requests for medical records.

Qualifications for this job

  • One year experience in a medical staff position.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Occasional travel will be required
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and familiarity with network systems.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and customer services skills.
  • Ability to travel to all locations and to meetings outside of the service area
  • Ability to organize, proritize,and problem-solve independently.
