Healthy Connections is seeking a payroll administrator to work with our Community Health Network of clinics in Arkansas and Colorado. This position is listed as being based in Hot Springs, but it could be based at any of our current clinic locations depending on the applicant.

How You Will Contribute
  • This position maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
  • Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions by working with Human Resources and directly with employees.
  • Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
  • Issues, or reissues, direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.
  • Records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits
  • Uploads payments to 401k and insurances directly.
  • The right individual for this position will be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accounting services and professionalism.

Minimum requirements are:

  • 2 + years’ experience performing payroll duties for over 100 employees
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of Payroll Administration
  • Experience with MIP Abila preferred but not required
  • Ability to travel to Mena for training and quarterly meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to effectively work with virtual and on-premises team members
  • Strong work ethic – “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Must be decisive and work well under pressure
  • Must be able to successfully meet deadlines
  • Confident in one’s abilities and able to work independently, with minimal direction
