Your Superhero Duties:
- Speed of Light Service: Maintain patient flow during clinic hours to ensure lightning-fast service.
- Vital Signs Extraordinaire: Accurately obtain vital signs, measurements, and laboratory tests as per protocol.
- Listening Wizard: Use your excellent listening skills to gather chief complaints and reasons for visits.
- Guardian of Confidentiality: Ensure patient confidentiality is sacred.
- Efficiency Champion: Keep exam rooms fully stocked and immaculately clean.
- Procedure Pro: Assist providers in procedures and examinations within your certification and training guidelines.
- Communication Guru: Translate written and verbal communications between patients and healthcare staff, ensuring seamless interactions.
- Patient Advocate: Assist with patient calls and schedule referrals for appointments and procedures.
- Quality Crusader: Participate in our community health center’s quality improvement activities, maintaining the highest standards.
- Visionary Screenings: Conduct patient screenings for vision, blood pressure, and other simple procedures within your certification/training.
- Lab Explorer: Collect specimens and deliver them to the laboratory.
- Emergency Responder: Perform individual emergency treatments while providing covered services.
Qualifications:
- Certified Superhero: Hold certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Life Saver: Be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
- Tech Savvy: Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and network systems.
- Communication Wizard: Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills are a must.
- Versatile Traveler: Ability to travel to all locations and attend meetings outside the service area.
- Team Player: Establish and maintain effective, courteous working relationships with patients, staff, and others.
- Problem-Solving Pro: Organize, prioritize, and solve problems independently.
- Bilingual Bonus: Proficiency in Spanish/English is a plus.
