Healthy Connections, a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing excellent healthcare through our values of Community, Compassion, and Excellence, is seeking a dedicated Clinical Staff Pharmacist for our flagship location in Mena, Arkansas. This pivotal role ensures the safe and effective use of medications through consultation, education, and comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed pharmaceutical services, including reviewing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
- Engage directly with patients and healthcare providers to consult on drug indications, contraindications, interactions, and side effects.
- Oversee and ensure the appropriate storage and distribution of medications across various facilities.
- Implement quality control testing and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Play a crucial role in patient health by conducting medication therapy management, clinical assessments, and documentation in our electronic medical records system.
- Actively participate in and support our 340B prescription program and other stewardship activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Current and active Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy License.
- A minimum of six months of experience as a licensed Pharmacist, with preference given to those with experience in a clinical setting at a community health center or hospital.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex medical documents, manage high-stress situations, and provide top-notch clinical recommendations.
- Strong technological proficiency, particularly with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
