Healthy Connections, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in Mena, Arkansas. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the disbursement of funds through accounts payable.
  • Enter and reconcile accounts payable invoices and statements.
  • Report EFT insurance payments received daily to the billing department.
  • Create purchase orders for non-inventory items.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with GAAP and Healthy Connections’ fiscal policies.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with other departments to support quality care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably in fund accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with network systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to all locations and attend meetings outside the service area.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
