Business Communications and Marketing Assistant

Location: Flexible (Hot Springs area preferred)

Schedule: Four-day workweek, with some nights and weekends required for community events.

Healthy Connections, a Federally-Qualified Health Center that has been serving the communities of Western and Central Arkansas for more than 25 years, is on the lookout for a dynamic Business Communications and Marketing Assistant. This role is central to our mission of providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services underpinned by our core values of Community, Compassion, and Excellence.

About the Role:

As a Business Communications and Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting Healthy Connections’ services and initiatives both online and in the community. Your work will directly impact our ability to reach and serve more patients, making a significant difference in the communities we serve. This position offers a unique blend of creative and strategic tasks, including graphic design, content creation, social media management, and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design with proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Skilled in website content management and familiar with SEO best practices.
  • Strong writing and editing skills across various platforms.
  • Capable of producing and editing high-quality photography and videography.
  • Experience with social media marketing and analytics.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective community outreach.
  • Adaptive learner with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Alignment with Healthy Connections’ mission and values, showing a commitment to community health and well-being.
  • Travel to all Healthy Connections clinic locations will at times be required to support our community outreach and marketing initiatives.
