As a Dental Financial Care Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional dental care while navigating financial considerations. Healthy Connections, a leading healthcare provider with a commitment to community well-being, is seeking a dedicated Dental Financial Care Coordinator to join our team in Mena, Arkansas. With a focus on excellence, compassion, and community, Healthy Connections is celebrating its 25th anniversary of providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Independently and clearly explain treatment options and related costs to patients.
  • Maintain client records, including insurance information, and determine eligibility for the approved sliding fee scale.
  • Act as a liaison between the doctor and the patient, assisting in the gathering of information in the new patient experience and coordinating treatment plans.
  • Knowledgeably present treatment plans and timelines to patients, negotiating financial arrangements when necessary.
  • Coordinate with other offices involved in patient care, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on correspondence.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Department to ensure patients receive agreed-upon treatment and services.
  • Provide exemplary, timely, and positive customer service to patients, family members, and employees.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of dental experience, with clinical experience in a dental practice and knowledge of dental insurance and procedures.
  • Experience with Dentrix and eMDs is required.
  • Ability to prepare oral and written information and reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with network systems.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to all locations and attend meetings outside of the service area.
