Position: Data/Finance Coordinator

Location: Malvern Pinnacle or Hot Springs

General Description of Duties and Responsibilities: As the Data/Finance Coordinator for the MAT Program, you will be instrumental in ensuring the program’s success by managing financial aspects and data tracking. Your role will encompass:

Administrative Duties:

  • Process and document financial transactions related to the MAT Grant Program.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate financial records, including receipts, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Collaborate with program staff to monitor budget utilization and allocate funds appropriately.
  • Develop and implement data collection tools and systems to track program activities and participant progress.
  • Regularly update and maintain databases with pertinent information.
  • Generate reports and conduct data analysis to evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable financial regulations and grant stipulations.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to funders and stakeholders in accordance with established timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with program staff to collect necessary data and information for reporting purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with external partners, including donors and grantors, providing required financial and programmatic information.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data collection and financial management processes.
  • Propose and implement improvements to optimize program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform duties in accordance with GAAP and HCI’s fiscal policies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and support, HCI’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information.
  • All other duties as assigned.

The Data/Finance Coordinator reports to the Co-Program Coordinators.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma and two years of accounting experience required, preferably fund accounting.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of accounting principles/fund accounting as applied to HCI.
  • Must possess organizational skills to adequately manage projects.
  • Knowledge of HCI rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and familiarity with network systems.
  • The ability to understand and present verbal instructions and to exchange verbal information is essential.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to travel to all locations and to meetings outside of the service area.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, courteous working relationships with patients, staff team members, business entities, and others.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and problem-solve independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial management, data coordination, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience working with grant-funded programs or in the non-profit sector.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
