Position: Full-Time (4-Day Workweek)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Assistant (MA)/Patient Care Coordinator to join our women’s health team. This hybrid position will work closely with the amazing and dynamic Dr. Kara Worley, OBGYN, providing essential support throughout her clinic travels. The primary location for this role is in Hot Springs, with regular travel to Malvern and Arkadelphia. Enjoy a 4-day workweek and a 3-day weekend every weekend!

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will assist Dr. Kara Worley and clinic nurses with obstetrics and gynecology patient care, including obtaining and documenting vital signs, measurements, and lab tests accurately. You will be responsible for maintaining patient flow during clinic hours to ensure prompt service, checking in patients, verifying insurance, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Ensuring patient confidentiality and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times is crucial. Additionally, you will provide organizational and customer service support to ensure the best patient experience, understand and present verbal instructions clearly to patients and staff, and travel with Dr. Worley to various clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) is required.
  • Proficiency in basic life support techniques.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills are mandatory.
  • Ability to understand and present verbal instructions clearly.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
