If so, this might be a great opportunity for you. Our fast-growing network of clinics is looking for a Business Communications and Marketing Assistant who can do a little bit of everything.

Healthy Connections Community Health Network is a Mena-based nonprofit organization serving the needs of children and adults throughout the areas we serve. Since its founding in 1998 as a home-visiting program, Healthy Connections has been able to provide much-needed health, dental, behavioral health, and social services to families of every lifestyle.

How you’ll contribute
The Business Communications and Marketing Assistant combines content marketing, graphic design, and social media management skills to architect and enhance Healthy Connections, Inc. and promote our services to the communities we serve. The Business Communications and Marketing Assistant will promote Healthy Connections’ services to existing and prospective patients through the strategic use of graphics, photography, videography, website, community events, and other communications platforms.

Job duties include:

  • Assists with growth and expansion of clinic social media presence into new social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Assists in the creation of marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules.
  • Provides press releases, advertisements, marketing materials, or any other HCI marketing needs.
  • Creates and distributes engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web pages and blog content, or social media messages.
  • Researches and monitors the activity of other similar clinics.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of, and supports, HCI’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Assists with updates and design of Healthy Connections websites.
  • Assists with Googles Search Optimization and Google Business page.
  • Ensures branding for all Healthy Connections entities.
  • Works to enhance the company image through photography and videography.

Qualifications for this job

  • Minimum of a high school diploma and 18 years or older.
  • Pass a criminal background check in accordance with State and Federal rules.
  • Must have experience in creating multimedia marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Must have previous experience in social media management and content creation. This would include Facebook, Instagram, Reels, Twitter, YouTube, and others.
  • Must have experience with design software including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or equivalent platforms.
  • Preferred knowledge of the Google Business platform.
  • Preferred knowledge of website content management systems. Experience with WordPress Divi preferred.
  • Photography/Videography experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and familiarity with network systems.
  • Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to self-motivate and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
