It’s never too early or late to work toward being your healthiest you! This National Women’s Health Week, we want to help you take control of your health.
This week serves as a reminder for women to make their health a priority and build positive habits for life. Visit the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health to learn more about how women can be as healthy as possible.
Their recommendations include:
- Visit a doctor or nurse for a well-woman checkup
- Get active
- Eat healthily
- Pay attention to mental health
- Avoid unhealthy behaviors, such as smoking, texting while driving, or not wearing a seatbelt.
These steps are the foundation of a lifetime of good health.
