What You’ll Do
As a physician with Healthy Connections, you’ll deliver comprehensive care to patients from all walks of life, with a special focus on HIV services and addiction treatment. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure each patient receives the support, dignity, and respect they deserve.
Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Providing expert HIV care and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Prescribing and managing medications, therapies, and individualized care plans.
- Collaborating with behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy teams for integrated care.
- Educating patients and families on health, treatment, and preventive strategies.
- Supporting quality-improvement initiatives and PCMH standards.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an approved residency in a primary care specialty.
- Active or eligible Arkansas medical license and DEA registration.
- Experience in HIV care and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CPR and ACLS within nine months of employment.
- Commitment to serving diverse patient populations in a community-based setting.
