Founded in 1999 by the Barnes family in memory of Patrick Barnes, this prestigious award honors nurses who go above and beyond in delivering patient-centered, high-quality care.

The BEE Award: Honoring All Non-Licensed Staff Who Make Healthcare Possible
Great nurses don’t work alone—exceptional patient care takes a team. That’s why the BEE (Be Excellent Everyday) Award honors any non-licensed staff member who plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care and keeping Healthy Connections running smoothly.
The BEE Award is open to all non-licensed staff across the organization, including but not limited to:
- Medical Assistants
- Patient Care Coordinators
- Front Desk Staff
- Referral Coordinators
- Billing & Administrative Staff
- Custodial & Support Services
- IT & Operations Teams
- And all other dedicated team members who make Healthy Connections an exceptional place for our patients and community!
