After nearly four decades of dedicated medical service, Dr. Sherilyn Webb and Eric Webb, PA, have officially retired from their clinical roles with Healthy Connections. Their careers have left an enduring impact on patients, peers, and the broader healthcare community across Arkansas and beyond.
The Webbs joined Healthy Connections in July 2017, but their journey in medicine began long before that. Over the years, they practiced in multiple states—including Utah, Wyoming, and Arkansas—bringing a wide range of clinical experience to each community they served. Their professional paths included emergency room work and private practice, which shaped their no-nonsense, patient-first approach. Before joining Healthy Connections, they were well known to residents of Polk County through their work at Mena Medical Associates and other healthcare settings.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, the Webbs were able to connect with and care for a wide and diverse patient base. At Healthy Connections, they served patients in Mena and throughout Western Arkansas, providing comprehensive care with compassion, expertise, and a deep respect for every individual who walked through the door.
Their impact on patients is undeniable. One patient described Eric Webb as “the best PA I’ve had in my 52 years of living,” noting his willingness to listen, his integrity in treatment, and his respectful bedside manner. Another patient described him as a provider “who listens to you and makes every effort to give you the answers you need… a good friend and a great professional.” These sentiments echo across countless patient experiences and define the trust he built in the exam room.
Patients have spoken just as highly of Dr. Sherilyn Webb. One patient praised her as “very thorough and patient,” emphasizing the time she spent answering questions and providing thoughtful, personalized care. Another remarked on her consistent approach: “She explains everything. I highly recommend people use her for their primary care doctor.” From chronic disease management to preventive care, she exemplified clinical excellence and empathy.
Dr. Webb and Eric Webb were pillars of the Mena Clinic team. Their presence set a high standard for professionalism, collaboration, and patient care. Even when not in the spotlight, they were quietly shaping what it means to deliver excellent, community-based healthcare.
Healthy Connections CEO Tony Calandro reflected on their departure with admiration: “We have been fortunate to have providers of their caliber. They are part of what helped define Healthy Connections in this region. Their care and consistency have made a lasting difference.”
While they are stepping away from medicine, they aren’t leaving the region. The Webbs plan to remain in Big Fork, about 20 miles from Mena, where they can enjoy a slower pace of life surrounded by nature and community. Though their daily presence in the clinic will be missed, their legacy continues through the lives they’ve touched and the standard of care they’ve helped establish.
Healthy Connections thanks Dr. Sherilyn Webb and Eric Webb, PA, for their extraordinary service and wishes them all the best in retirement.
