Healthy Connections, Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead and support our clinical teams across Western and Central Arkansas. This position oversees all aspects of nursing operations, including staffing, clinical quality, compliance, and professional development. The Director of Nursing ensures that every clinic upholds the highest standards of care, efficiency, and patient experience.
This position requires frequent travel between clinic locations to provide on-site leadership, support, and training. The Director of Nursing must be an organized, visible leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about fostering teamwork, accountability, and excellence in patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all nursing and clinical support staff across multiple clinic locations.
- Coordinating staffing schedules, training, and professional development.
- Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Leading the organization’s nursing teams in alignment with the Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
- Developing and enforcing clinical policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Managing nursing-related budgets and ensuring financial efficiency.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to develop strategies that enhance patient outcomes and operational effectiveness.
- Supporting integrated primary care, behavioral health, and specialty programs.
- Acting as a liaison between clinical teams and executive leadership.
- Promoting staff engagement, accountability, and patient satisfaction across all departments.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arkansas.
- Minimum of four years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of clinical operations, quality improvement, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and prioritize effectively across multiple locations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred but not required.
