Dr. Sally Kalkbrenner, PharmD, brings more than 34 years of pharmacy experience to her role as Clinical Staff Pharmacist at the new Healthy Connections Malvern Community Pharmacy. A two-time graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees, Dr. Kalkbrenner has served in a variety of pharmacy settings across Arkansas—including St. Bernards Medical Center, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, USA Drug, Fred’s Pharmacy, and Doctor’s Orders Pharmacy. Her background combines hospital precision with the personal touch of community pharmacy, emphasizing collaboration, medication safety, and trusted patient relationships.
Originally from Prescott, Arkansas, Dr. Kalkbrenner is passionate about improving access to healthcare and medications for local families. She provides medication therapy management, point-of-care testing, and vaccination services while working closely with medical providers to help patients achieve their best possible outcomes. She believes that community pharmacy is about more than filling prescriptions—it’s about being a supportive and accessible healthcare partner. Outside of work, Dr. Kalkbrenner enjoys exploring Arkansas state parks, reading, playing the flute, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and four grandchildren.
