Healthy Connections is proud to recognize Nicholas Weaver of the Hot Springs McAuley clinic and Carolyn Alexander of Evolve Behavioral Health in Mena as our most recent Employees of the Month. This recognition honors team members who consistently demonstrate the values that guide our organization—Community, Compassion, and Excellence—through their daily work and dedication to the people we serve.
Each month, employees across Healthy Connections’ East and West Communities are nominated by their coworkers for outstanding service and teamwork. Members of the Senior Management Team then review those nominations and select one recipient from each region. This month’s honorees reflect the everyday impact of employees who step up when it matters most.
East Communities Winner: Nicholas Weaver, LPN – Hot Springs McAuley Clinic
Nicholas Weaver, a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Hot Springs McAuley clinic, joined Healthy Connections in 2024 and has quickly become a trusted and valued member of the care team. After recently moving to the McAuley office, Nicholas stepped into an especially busy environment and immediately made a difference.
In his nomination, coworkers noted that Nicholas “has been incredibly helpful during a very busy time,” assisting with prior authorizations, rooming patients when needed, and managing refill requests from pharmacies. With staffing changes and increased workload, one nominator shared that Nicholas “has consistently stepped up, offering support and kindness while asking how he can help.”
His willingness to jump in wherever needed—without hesitation—has had a meaningful impact on both patients and coworkers. Nicholas’s teamwork, flexibility, and patient-centered approach exemplify the pillars of Community and Compassion, while his reliability and initiative reflect a strong commitment to Excellence.
West Communities Winner: Carolyn Alexander – Lead Behavioral Health Patient Care Coordinator, Evolve Behavioral Health, Mena
Carolyn Alexander has been part of Healthy Connections since 2017 and serves as the Lead Behavioral Health Patient Care Coordinator at Evolve Behavioral Health in Mena. Her coworkers describe her as someone who brings compassion, knowledge, and steady leadership to everything she does.
