How You’ll Contribute
As a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) at Healthy Connections, you will provide a full range of patient care services, including:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and gathering medical, social, and family histories.
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribing medications, therapies, and treatments based on individual patient needs.
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic studies.
- Counseling and educating patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU) initiatives.
- Coordinating referrals for specialized care when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Arkansas APRN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- CPR and ACLS training (to be completed within 9 months of employment).
- DEA licensure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and network systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and establish effective working relationships.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or willingness to be vaccinated before employment.
