Business Communications and Marketing Specialist - Healthy Connections Community Health Network

Business Communications and Marketing Specialist

Be a Key Voice in a Mission-Driven Organization

At Healthy Connections, we’re not just checking boxes — we’re building trust, shaping community health, and telling stories that matter. We’ve spent more than 25 years delivering quality care to patients across Arkansas through our network of Federally-Qualified Health Centers. Now, we’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated marketing and communications specialist to help us elevate our voice and deepen our reach.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage creative projects from idea to execution, and know how to balance visuals with messaging, this is the role for you. And yes — we offer a four-day workweek to support better work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

  • Design digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Develop content across platforms, including web, email, internal communications, and printed collateral
  • Manage our presence on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Oversee Google Business Profiles, monitor and respond to online reviews
  • Maintain and update our website and employee intranet (WordPress-based)
  • Work independently without needing constant direction — deadlines, priorities, and execution are yours to own
  • Partner with internal teams and leadership to support strategic initiatives and campaigns
  • Analyze performance metrics and use them to guide your creative and strategic decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Proven experience managing professional social media accounts and content calendars
  • Familiarity with Google tools (Business Profiles, Analytics) and online reputation management
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize and manage projects independently
  • A portfolio (design and/or writing samples) is required

Even Better If You Have

  • Healthcare or nonprofit marketing experience
  • Basic video editing and production experience
  • SEO and digital ad knowledge (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, etc.)

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Four-day workweek (full-time, 40 hours/week — more balance, same pay)
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options for you and your family
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • A supportive, collaborative, and mission-centered environment
