Healthy Connections is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician at our Mena Community Pharmacy, where you’ll be a vital member of a collaborative team providing high-quality, community-focused care. You’ll work directly with licensed pharmacists and patients to ensure smooth, accurate prescription processing, insurance coordination, and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a liaison between patients, pharmacists, insurance companies, and providers
  • Process prescriptions, assist with insurance verification, and handle prior authorizations
  • Maintain accurate medication inventory and check for expired stock
  • Coordinate prescription pickups and occasional deliveries
  • Prepare deposits, reports, and maintain required documentation
  • Uphold HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards
  • Support patients with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team communication
  • Travel locally as needed between clinics

What We’re Looking For

  • Active, unrestricted Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license (Required)
  • CPR certification
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general network systems
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
  • Strong commitment to patient care, teamwork, and compliance standards
