About Evolve Behavioral Health Services

Evolve Behavioral Health Services and Medication Management is part of the Healthy Connections Community Health Network, a Federally-Qualified Health Center that has provided quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services throughout Western and Central Arkansas for more than 25 years. Built on the pillars of Community, Compassion, and Excellence, Evolve embraces a fully integrated model where medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy teams work together to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Position Overview

Evolve Behavioral Health Services is seeking a skilled and committed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN PMHNP) to join our Malvern team. This role is essential in providing integrated psychiatric, behavioral, and psychosocial services to a diverse patient population. PMHNPs in this position work in a collaborative environment while maintaining appropriate autonomy within their scope of practice.

The role follows a hybrid model with both onsite and telehealth visits. Providers can expect a steady schedule consistent with a high-volume behavioral health setting. Most clinics operate Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., supporting a four-day workweek. Behavioral health therapists are on-site, and support staff is available; however, the PMHNP will handle a substantial portion of their own administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide integrated psychiatric, medical, and psychosocial services in alignment with Healthy Connections clinical standards.

  • Collaborate closely with medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy teams to ensure coordinated, patient-focused care.

  • Conduct evaluations, follow-up visits, and medication management within the PMHNP scope of practice.

  • Complete timely documentation, manage day-to-day workflows, and handle administrative tasks independently.

  • Support continuity of care and contribute to collaborative treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school and recognized Nurse Practitioner program.

  • Current Arkansas PMHNP licensure.

  • DEA license required.

  • Basic Life Support certification; CPR and ACLS required within 9 months of hire.

  • Experience in psychiatric or behavioral healthcare appropriate to the role.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems.

  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work independently.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally; primary location is Malvern.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.

  • Four-day workweek.

  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan.

  • Discounted medical and dental services for employees.

  • Productivity incentives.

  • Potential eligibility for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repayment programs, depending on federal qualification criteria.

NHSC Loan Repayment

Qualified individuals may be eligible to participate in NHSC loan repayment and other federal health workforce incentive programs. Details regarding site eligibility and program requirements are available at nhsc.hrsa.gov.
