We are currently seeking a Radiology Technician (RT) to join our team.

Position Description
As a Radiology Technician (RT), you will be an integral part of our clinic’s medical team, supporting the provision of primary healthcare services. Your role will involve operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs, preparing patients for radiological procedures, and ensuring patient confidentiality. Additionally, you will assist healthcare providers in various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and maintain radiology supplies inventory. Your dedication to maintaining equipment and adhering to standards will contribute to our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce accurate radiographs for patient diagnosis.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, height, weight, and identifying the chief complaint.
  • Provide patient education as needed, promoting a holistic approach to healthcare.
  • Support healthcare providers in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of radiology supplies and ensure timely restocking.
  • Assist in stocking examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments and community healthcare agencies to ensure quality care.
  • Stay current with licensure and certifications, including required CEUs.
  • Ensure the proper operation of radiology equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate new equipment and techniques to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Licensed Radiology Technician with the ability to maintain current licensure.
  • Proficiency in Basic Life Support techniques.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and network systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different locations and attend meetings outside the service area.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, courteous working relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current Radiological Practices and Standards.
