Healthy Connections is now accepting DAISY and BEE Award nominations from patients, families, and community members across Arkansas. These awards recognize team members who go above and beyond to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support every day.
Whether it’s a nurse taking extra time to comfort a patient or a team member stepping in to solve a problem when it matters most, these moments define what care should look like—and they deserve to be recognized.
Now in its second year, the DAISY and BEE Award nominations at Healthy Connections highlight the individuals who live out the organization’s commitment to Community, Compassion, and Excellence.
DAISY Award Nominations: Recognizing Extraordinary Nurses
The DAISY Foundation established the DAISY Award in 1999 to honor nurses who make a profound difference in the lives of their patients and families.
At Healthy Connections, DAISY Award nominations are open for licensed nursing staff—including LPNs, RNs, and APRNs—who demonstrate clinical excellence, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.
Each year, one nurse is selected to receive this prestigious honor, joining a global community of DAISY Award recipients.

BEE Award Nominations: Be Excellent Everyday
Great care doesn’t happen alone. The BEE (Be Excellent Everyday) Award recognizes non-licensed team members whose work supports patients and strengthens the entire care experience.
BEE Award nominations are open to a wide range of roles, including:
- Medical Assistants
- Patient Care Coordinators
- Front Desk and Medical Records staff
- Referral and Billing teams
- Marketing, IT, HR, and Operations
- Custodial and Maintenance staff
Each year, one team member is selected for their impact, professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
