The 2025 THV11 Summer Cereal Drive is underway, and Healthy Connections made a strong start with its first official donation event in Hot Springs Village on Wednesday, June 4. Staff from the nearby clinic gathered to deliver more than 100 boxes of cereal to Brookshire’s, supporting the Arkansas Foodbank’s effort to fight summer hunger for children and families across the state.
HSV Cereal Cap’n Anna Lear led the charge, organizing the collection effort and rallying the Hot Springs Village clinic team. Staff walked across the parking lot to join THV11’s Tom Brannon live on-air, helping raise awareness and proudly representing Healthy Connections.
“This was a great way to officially start our involvement in this year’s Summer Cereal Drive,” said Jeffrey Slatton, Business Communications and Marketing Manager. “Thanks to Anna for making it happen, and to the Hot Springs Village staff for showing up with energy. And thank you to the community for continuing to make this clinic such a strong part of the Village.”

Donate Cereal, Support Families
The THV11 Summer Cereal Drive continues throughout June. Community members can support the effort by donating new, unopened boxes of cereal at any Healthy Connections location. Donations are distributed through the Arkansas Foodbank and, in some areas, through other local food bank partners, ensuring support reaches families in the communities where it’s needed most.
More Events This Week
Healthy Connections will participate in two additional official THV11 donation events on Friday, June 6:
- Arkadelphia – Brookshire’s at 9:00 a.m.
- Malvern – Family Market at 12:00 p.m.
These events are part of Healthy Connections’ broader mission to deliver not only expert healthcare, but also meaningful community support across the regions we serve.
