Healthy Connections is excited to announce the 2026 Polk County Dental Sealant Project in partnership with the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Dental Hygiene School! This annual initiative provides essential dental care, including sealants and fluoride treatments, to 2nd–6th grade students in the Mena School District, Ouachita River School District, and Cossatot River School District.

The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Hygiene School will be in Polk County on:
- February Date To Be Announced – Wickes, Oden, Umpire, Van Cove, Acorn
- February Date To Be Announced – Louise Durham, Holly Harshman, and Mena Middle School
If demand is high, we will add an additional day and notify participants. If your child’s school cannot participate on the scheduled date, let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

If your child’s school is not part of this program, or if you haven’t received a registration form, you can still participate! Simply download the Polk County Sealant Project Registration Form and Fluoride Consent Form and return them by February 13, 2026 via:
