Recognizing Our October Best: Sarah Armstrong and Carla Moore

Each month, Healthy Connections celebrates two team members who embody our three pillars of Community, Compassion, and Excellence—one representing our East Communities and one representing our West Communities. These Employees of the Month are nominated by their peers and selected by members of our Senior Management Team for their outstanding commitment to our mission and their dedication to the patients and coworkers they serve.

For October, we proudly recognize Sarah Armstrong from our Hot Springs Central Clinic and Carla Moore from our Mena Clinic as our Employees of the Month.

East Communities Winner: Sarah Armstrong – Hot Springs Central

Since joining Healthy Connections in January, Sarah Armstrong has made a powerful impression as a Patient Care Coordinator at our Hot Springs Central Clinic. Her coworkers describe her as phenomenal with both kids and parents—someone who listens, understands, and always goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels cared for.

Sarah’s compassion shines through in every patient interaction, and her teamwork is second to none. She is known for stepping up whenever help is needed and for giving her full heart to everything she does. Her genuine care for patients and support for her fellow team members make her an outstanding example of Healthy Connections’ values in action.

West Communities Winner: Carla Moore – Mena

Carla Moore, a Medical Records Clerk at our Mena Clinic, is one of the longest-tenured members of the Healthy Connections family—with an incredible 22 years of service. She is the second most tenured employee in the organization, and her dedication continues to set a high standard for all of us.

Carla has gone above and beyond in supporting new team members within the Medical Records department. She has taken the lead in training, answering questions, and helping new employees feel welcome. She even volunteered alongside them at community events like the fair, showing her willingness to step outside her normal role to support the team. Her commitment and leadership exemplify the true spirit of excellence that drives Healthy Connections forward.

Celebrating Community, Compassion, and Excellence

Sarah and Carla remind us that what makes Healthy Connections special isn’t just what we do—it’s how we do it. Their actions reflect the compassion, teamwork, and dedication that define our mission to care for our communities with quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services.

Each month, we recognize two Employees of the Month—one from the East and one from the West—who go above and beyond for their patients and coworkers. You could be one of our next winners if you were part of our team.
