Healthy Connections Welcomes Samantha Davis, APRN, Now Seeing Patients at the Haskell Clinic

Residents of Haskell and the surrounding Saline County communities now have expanded access to high-quality primary care close to home. Samantha Davis, APRN, is now seeing patients at the Healthy Connections Haskell Clinic, bringing eight years of experience in family practice and urgent care to patients of all ages.

“Samantha brings the kind of experience and approach to care that makes a real difference for patients and families,” said Tony Calandro, Chief Executive Officer of Healthy Connections. “We are excited to welcome her to our team and to continue strengthening access to high-quality, compassionate healthcare at our Haskell clinic.”

Samantha provides comprehensive family medicine for patients from newborns to seniors, offering preventive care, sick visits, and long-term management of conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. She encourages patients to take an active role in their health and emphasizes the importance of routine wellness visits and early screenings.

“In my practice, I take care of patients of all ages, from birth to death,” Samantha said. “I really encourage people to take advantage of wellness visits and screenings. The sooner we catch something, the better chance we have of addressing it early.”

The Healthy Connections Haskell Clinic is also a Vaccines for Children (VFC) clinic location, providing routine childhood immunizations as part of comprehensive well-child care. This helps ensure children in the community have access to recommended vaccines regardless of insurance status.

In addition to primary care services, Samantha offers a wide range of in-office procedures, including Pap smears, Nexplanon insertion and removal, minor suturing, joint injections, incision and drainage procedures, foreign body removal, and DOT physicals. Her background in both family practice and urgent care allows her to manage routine needs while also addressing unexpected health concerns efficiently and locally.

At the center of Samantha’s care philosophy is a focus on respect, communication, and collaboration.

“I believe strongly in patient empowerment,” she said. “Healthcare works best when patients feel comfortable, heard, and involved in their care. I want to take the time to listen, answer questions, and work together with patients to make decisions that fit their lives and goals.”

Originally from Glenwood, Arkansas, Samantha most recently practiced in De Queen before relocating to Saline County. She will be serving patients long term at the Haskell clinic and is focused on building lasting relationships with individuals and families in the community.

“I’m excited to be here in Haskell and to get to know my patients and this community,” she said. “I hope people will come in, get established, and let us take care of them.”

While the Haskell clinic has been part of Healthy Connections for a few years, Samantha’s arrival represents an important step in providing consistent, permanent provider access for patients who rely on this location. As part of the Healthy Connections community health network, the Haskell clinic is connected to additional providers, locations, and services across Arkansas, allowing for coordinated care and referrals when needed—while keeping primary care close to home.

Samantha also plans to expand her services in the coming year through additional training in HIV care, addiction treatment, and hormone replacement therapy, further strengthening local access to care.

The Healthy Connections Haskell Clinic is located at 2323 AR-229, Suite B, Haskell, AR 72015, conveniently next door to Harmony Grove School. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Healthy Connections accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and ARKids First, is in network with most major health insurance plans, and offers a sliding fee scale for qualifying patients without insurance.
