Healthy Connections Announces September Employees of the Month

Healthy Connections is proud to announce the September 2025 Employees of the Month, recognizing team members who embody the organization’s three pillars of Community, Compassion, and Excellence. Each month, one winner is selected from our east communities and one from our west communities. Nominations come directly from peers and final selections are made by senior management, ensuring the recognition reflects the respect and admiration of coworkers.

This month’s winners are Hannah Sachs of the Malvern clinics and Jennifer Ahumada of the De Queen Clinic. Both are being recognized for their outstanding dedication to patients and colleagues, going above and beyond in their roles while reflecting the values Healthy Connections was built on.

East Communities Employee of the Month: Hannah Sachs

Hannah Sachs, a phlebotomist at the Malvern clinics since 2024, is described by her coworkers as someone who “truly embodies community, compassion, and excellence.” One nomination stated:

“Hannah is always willing to step in and help the team, making everyone feel supported. With patients, she shows such kindness and patience, easing their worries and treating each person with respect. Her skill and professionalism as a phlebotomist are outstanding, and she takes pride in her job with care and accuracy. She is a shining example of what it means to serve others with heart and dedication.”

Her ability to balance technical skill with genuine compassion makes her an invaluable part of the Malvern team and a role model throughout Healthy Connections.

West Communities Employee of the Month: Jennifer Ahumada

Since joining the De Queen Clinic in 2024, Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) Jennifer Ahumada has consistently demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and commitment. Her coworkers highlighted how she stepped up during a time of short staffing:

“Jennifer goes above and beyond to try and help not only her coworkers but also the patients. She covered our front desk single-handedly several days of the week for several weeks due to others being out for medical reason. She is always willing to help when she came even helping to make sure the front lobby and rooms are cleaned due to not having a cleaning team at this time here in De Queen.”

Her team also praised her patience and persistence:

“She stepped up to the plate when a coworker was on maternity leave and waited patiently for our new hire PCC to start. While she was the only PCC in De Queen, she didn’t let that overwhelm her when she had all three providers. She handled incoming calls, check-ins, and scheduling with a smile. She deserves recognition for her hard work and commitment to patients and staff alike.”

Jennifer’s ability to stay calm under pressure and keep her clinic running smoothly with positivity and professionalism makes her a standout among her peers.

Celebrating Community, Compassion, and Excellence

Healthy Connections congratulates Hannah Sachs and Jennifer Ahumada on this well-deserved recognition. Their dedication demonstrates the best of what healthcare should be—delivered with skill, teamwork, and heart.

We invite you to join us in celebrating Hannah and Jennifer for their commitment to excellence and for their contributions to strengthening the care we provide across Arkansas.
