When to Schedule Your First Visit
Prenatal Care Visits
The frequency of prenatal visits varies based on factors such as age and potential complications. For a healthy woman aged 18 to 35, the schedule typically includes:
- Every 4 to 6 weeks for the first 32 weeks
- Every 2 to 3 weeks for the 32nd to 37th weeks
- Every week from the 37th week through delivery
Trimester Breakdown
First Trimester (0 to 13 weeks)
Second Trimester (14 to 26 weeks)
Often referred to as the “golden period,” this trimester brings relief from some first-trimester symptoms. Baby movements become noticeable, and the baby’s development includes forming eyelids, eyebrows, and nails..
Third Trimester (27 to 40 weeks
In the home stretch, physical symptoms may include occasional abdominal pain, stronger fetal movement, and swelling. By the end of this trimester, your baby will be preparing for life outside the womb.
Pregnancy Testing: We conduct routine tests and may recommend additional ones based on individual circumstances.
Emergency Obstetrics Appointments: Contact us promptly if you experience symptoms requiring immediate attention during pregnancy.
Creating a Birth Plan: Planning for your delivery is an exciting part of your journey. We provide guidance on creating a birth plan to help you express your preferences for labor and delivery..
