Healthy Connections, Inc., is excited to announce that Family Nurse Practitioner Tonya Sauers, APRN, is accepting new patients in LIttle Rock.

Sauers, who is a specialist in primary care/family medicine, HIV treatment, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction, will be at our Little Rock Midtown location (Health For Life Clinic) at 1100 N. University (#200). She is also certified to do DOT physicals.

The Healthy Connections Malvern Pinnacle clinic will be open from 7:45 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Call 888-710-8220 for appointments.

Sauers moved to Arkansas in 2011 and previously worked at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

“Central Arkansas is one of the highest in Arkansas for opioid addiction. It’s never going to go away, but we want to be available to those patients that do want help with their recovery and sobriety,” Sauers said. “I do have close connections with HIV. I have family members who are part of the LGBTQ population. I’ve noticed there is a lack of personalized care for that population and a desperate need for that. It’s not just HIV-focused. We’re treating them as a PCP.”
