Rep. Westerman Among 415 Tested in Hot Springs Village

Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.) visits with Healthy Connections CEO Tony Calandro at the Hot Springs Village Covid-19 testing popup event.

The Healthy Connections Free Covid-19 Mass Testing Tour made an incredible stop in Hot Springs Village on Friday, May 29, 2020.

In a span of just under four hours, Healthy Connections was able to provide testing for 415 people at our drive-through pop-up event, which was co-sponsored by the Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce. That brings our first week’s total tested number to more than 650 people.

One of the people tested on Friday was U.S. Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.), who got in line and was tested from his truck. The U.S. Congress is responsible for the funding that allows Healthy Connections to hold mass testing events like this one.

The tests are for the Covid-19 virus and are free to all patients at our pop-up events. Go to www.GetTestedFree.com for the complete schedule that includes stops next week in Little Rock (Tuesday, June 2), Benton (Wednesday, June 3), Arkadelphia (Thursday, June 4), and Gurdon (Friday, June 5). Each day tests will be given on a first-come, first-served basis for anyone who wants to be tested, regardless of symptoms.

Healthy Connections is also providing Covid-19 testing in all clinics. Call 888-710-8220 for appointments or visit www.healthy-connections.org/locations to find a clinic near you.

The Covid-19 antibody test is also being given at Healthy Connections clinics. Call 888-710-8220 for appointments.
